Alonadt displays odds in decimal format by default — here's how all three formats compare
Decimal odds show your total return for every Rs 1 wagered — including your original stake. They're the most intuitive format and are the default setting on alonadt. To calculate your payout, simply multiply your stake by the decimal odds.
Odds of 1.00 would mean no return (just your stake back). Anything above 2.00 means you profit more than your stake if you win. Decimal odds are used across Europe, Asia and most international platforms — which is why alonadt uses them as default.
| Decimal | Implied Prob. | Rs 1,000 Returns |
|---|---|---|
| 1.50 | 66.7% | Rs 1,500 |
| 2.00 | 50.0% | Rs 2,000 |
| 3.00 | 33.3% | Rs 3,000 |
| 5.00 | 20.0% | Rs 5,000 |
| 10.00 | 10.0% | Rs 10,000 |
Fractional odds (used traditionally in the UK) show your profit relative to your stake. The number on the left is how much you win, the number on the right is what you risk. Alonadt can switch your display to fractional if you prefer this format — though most Pakistani bettors find decimal easier to work with.
To convert fractional to decimal: divide the top number by the bottom number and add 1. So 3/2 = (3 ÷ 2) + 1 = 2.50 decimal. Even odds (1/1) is 2.00 decimal — you double your money if you win.
| Fractional | Decimal | Implied Prob. |
|---|---|---|
| 1/2 | 1.50 | 66.7% |
| 1/1 (evens) | 2.00 | 50.0% |
| 2/1 | 3.00 | 33.3% |
| 4/1 | 5.00 | 20.0% |
| 9/1 | 10.00 | 10.0% |
American odds use a +/− system based on Rs 100 units. A positive number (+) shows profit on a Rs 100 stake. A negative number (−) shows how much you need to stake to profit Rs 100. Alonadt can display odds in American format if you prefer it, though it's less commonly used in Pakistan.
| American | Decimal | Implied Prob. |
|---|---|---|
| −200 | 1.50 | 66.7% |
| +100 (evens) | 2.00 | 50.0% |
| +200 | 3.00 | 33.3% |
| +400 | 5.00 | 20.0% |
| +900 | 10.00 | 10.0% |

Lower margin means for every Rs 10,000 wagered you keep more. Over a full PSL season these differences add up meaningfully.

Betting odds are the language of sports betting. Once you genuinely understand how they work — not just which number is bigger, but what that number actually means in terms of probability and payout — everything else in sports betting becomes clearer. The way alonadt presents odds is designed to make this as transparent as possible for Pakistani players, most of whom are betting on cricket first and foremost.
Alonadt uses decimal odds as the default display format, and this is genuinely the most sensible choice for Pakistani bettors. The calculation is simple and consistent: multiply your stake by the decimal odds to get your total return. There's no separate calculation needed for profit versus stake — the number you see already includes both. If Pakistan is priced at 2.20 to win a match and you stake Rs 5,000, you get back Rs 11,000. That's Rs 6,000 profit plus your original Rs 5,000 stake back. Simple, clean, no ambiguity.
Compare this to fractional odds, where you need to interpret something like 6/5 and mentally calculate what that means for your specific stake size. Most experienced international bettors prefer decimal odds because they're faster to compare and faster to calculate, and alonadt's odds board reflects this with decimal as the standard view.
Every set of odds implies a probability. To convert decimal odds to implied probability, divide 1 by the odds. Odds of 2.00 imply a 50% probability (1 ÷ 2.00). Odds of 4.00 imply 25% (1 ÷ 4.00). Odds of 1.40 imply about 71.4%. This is how alonadt's odds board interprets market opinion — what the collective weight of money and analysis suggests about each team's chances.
The intelligent bet is one where you believe the true probability is higher than what the odds imply. If alonadt prices Pakistan at 2.50 to win a Test match against Australia, the implied probability is 40%. If your analysis of the conditions, Pakistan's current form and Australia's recent away record leads you to believe Pakistan's real chance is closer to 50%, then 2.50 represents value. You don't need to win every bet — you just need to find odds where your assessed probability consistently beats the implied probability.
Pre-match odds are set based on general public information. In-play odds on alonadt shift in real time based on what's happening in the match — and this is where detailed cricket knowledge gives bettors the most edge. If Pakistan lose two quick wickets in the powerplay of a T20 chase but you can see from the scorecard that the two main batsmen are still to come in, and the pitch looks solid from ball-tracking data, alonadt's in-play odds might be offering inflated value on Pakistan recovering. That kind of reading of a cricket match is something any deeply engaged Pakistani cricket fan develops naturally over years of watching the game.
The same logic applies in football — a red card in the 60th minute creates sudden odds shifts that may not fully account for tactical adjustments, substitutions or the specific nature of the team with ten men. Alonadt's in-play interface updates fast enough that you can act on these opportunities before the market fully adjusts.
Understanding odds makes you a more informed bettor — but it doesn't change the fundamental reality that sports outcomes are uncertain and all betting involves real financial risk. The bookmaker margin on alonadt is among the lowest available in Pakistan, but it still exists, and it means that over a large volume of random bets the platform has a mathematical edge. Where genuine bettors find an advantage is through information, discipline and patience — not by increasing stakes to recover losses. Alonadt provides deposit limits, loss limits and self-exclusion tools to help you stay within a budget that's genuinely comfortable. Use them. 18+ only.
